Importing a range of tyres from 7 different countries with more than 20 brands of tyres and many sizes on offer, selecting the right tyre for your unique transport needs are covered. Onsite service
with 10 service vehicles in Melbourne and 3 service vehicles in Tasmania our onsite work and emergency breakdown service is very quick and efficient – all vehicles are equipt with GPS tracking location for a superior well-organised service.

From the beginning
Ruband Tyres story starts earlier than most think,
Our staff background starts in the early 70’s with key individuals beginning in the industry for companies like Goodyear and eventually finding there home at Ruband Tyres.
Ruband Tyres as a company started as an import and wholesale business back in the early 80’s and has since not only held fast in the importation of tyres from all over the world but also adopted fitting and retail service work. over the years we have seen many changes in the industry and to modern tyres, The development of the modern radial tyre has been witnessed from countries such as China and India, we have been there, seen, trialed and tested many different brands and builds of tyres and have in short picked the best tyres that continually work well in our unique landscape two of our brands that continuously work fantastic include JK Tyre from India and Sportrak Tyre from China,
Jk tyre has been a key option as its rugged and tough design has been made for the harsh road conditions and overloaded freight that is extremely common in India, making them a great option for our similar hash conditions here in Australia, priced close to Chinese products we often see similar or better Kilometer result to the expensive major Europian and Japanese brands, this makes JK a Fantastic “Cents per Kilometer” cost-effective option.
Same as the JK tyre, in the Sportrak brand we have witnessed a superior product compared to other tyres coming from the china which all claim to have products “Designed for Australian Conditions” (which in our opinion is simply not true.) Sportrak Tyres are made with better quality using overkill techniques like making 11R22.5 as a heavier duty 18 ply rating rather than the more common cheaper 16 ply rating, in short, a tougher better designed and built tyre that simply works well here in Australia and is very cost effective.
We also carry the full range of major Japanese and European brands, we back up this large range of the best tyres with expert knowledge of which tyre to use in which application to ensure you simply get the absolute best result you possibly can from your tyre use.
